Deepika Padukone who is a Bollywood heart throb and Indian actress also a former model was born in 5 January 1986. Deepika appears mostly in Hindi as well as Tamil and Kannada language movies also. Though she was born to to a Badminton player Prakash Padukone as her father she chose to become an actress and did not pursue a career in sports at all. Deepika made her acting debut in a Kannada film named "Aishwarya" in 2006. She made her Hindi film debut in the blockbuster movie named "Om Shanti Om" opposite to Shah Rukh Khan which has earned her in that following year the Filmfare Best Female Debut Award. Deepika subsequently appeared in movies such as "Love Aaj Kal" and "Housefull". While the former movie earned Deepika a Filmfare nomination of the Best Actress category the later emerged as a commercial success also.
